Customize Default Guest Account Home Folder
posted by acaben on Friday November 09, @07:25AM
Mac OS X Michael Coyle writes "Leopard provides a new Guest User account for shared Macs. Upon every login, a new Home folder is created from a template. The newest tutorial at Michael's Mac shows you how to customize the Home folder template so Dock, Application, and System Preferences survive across logins."

What about Simple Finder customizations? (Score:0)

First Post. On an article almost a month old.

    Wow.

Anyway, to the real point of the post... What I want to know is how to customize "Simple Finder" Guest accounts. I want Safari to automatically launch, but these bits don't help Simple Finder mode. (Basically, I want it so that Guest account can only do Safari, and Safari loads automatically. It's for a computer that is a coffee shop free internet machine.)
